I found another feature affected by the update. Prior to the update, I was able to turn on or off the feature to have both the heated steering wheel and seats come on when the outside temperature is 39 degrees or lower. After the update to 14.05.3, the on/off setting only controls the steering wheel and not the driver's seat. Thus, the seat will come on every time you start the vehicle when the outside temp is 39 or lower, whether you need it or not. Often doing short trips, you don't need it with every start. I found that there is a TSB to fix the issue. It stated that it applies to all GCs built before January 22, 2014. So it goes on the list for my next dealer visit. The dealer did not automatically apply the TSB.

After the update I'm noticing my gps blacks out and reboots every now and then. Never happened to me before the update.

the camera "jitter" is back.. and worse imo. waiting to back out of my driveway (I am on a main rd..) some cars barely even show on the picture before they are past. Terrible... it used to work fine. C'mon chrysler!! Why does it feel llike we are going backwards?

Re: JGC Software version 14.05.3

I can't get the stupid download client to pop up so although i can get to the pages with the upgrade instructions and can get the download client to download, it never launches so i cant actually get the UConnect software. I have tried this on multiple browsers on both Win7 PC as well as Mac... WTF!

This is my first upgrade since I bought my car and I'm running on an early 13.x from fall of last year, so would like to update my software. Any help would be appreciated!

There has been a lot written on this topic. If you search the forum and read the threads there are multiple solutions. One is to become a supporting member and download it in the VIP forum.

What worked for me was the Safari browser on my Win7 machine.

I had same issue so the IT guy at the office came in and changed a setting in my browser that was blocking it. It went fin from there. Cannot remember the setting change.

The fix for this is to use compatibility mode in Internet Explorer.
