I hope I get this update too - the pricing for the Nav updates is cost prohibitive. Thanks for the thread, great info.

When I did this last, I used the ACC position and the radio did not turn off during the 20 minute update.

I hope an update is sent out for the RER because those maps are way out of date

but when it's the software update (~45 minutes) and map update (~1 hour) it will turn off

The question is how to get the promo code...it references a letter or email; neither of which I have received as of this date. My 2012 Summit should qualify based on the manufacturing date range...
