Just updated my 730n rer map database

Ordered the upgrade from Navigation.com, it came with a map data dvd and a radio firmware update (v2.404). It took about an hour to install both. I can't notice any difference in the firmware upgrade (from v2.402), must be a minor tweak.
As far as the map data is concerned, there seems to be no difference for the area near my residence. A subdivision that is over two years old is not on the map, and the POIs look the same. A couple of businesses that have been closed for over 10 years are still shown.

Overall, I am disappointed in the upgrade, seems a waste of $149.

Re: Just updated my 730n rer map database

I'm hoping someone can help me. I have a 2010 Grand Cherokee with the 730N RER. I got my 2015 software and navigation update in the mail yesterday. I updated the software, per the manual, with no problems. I started installing the navigation update and went inside. My wife went outside about 30 minutes later and turned the key off! I thought the manual said that if the power went off during navigation update that it would resume when it was powered back on. I'm at work right now and do not have the manual with me. When she drove the Jeep this morning, the radio was stuck on the splash screen/Jeep Uconnect logo, and none of the buttons would work. Am I screwed? I would swear it said in the instructions that the radio could be powered off during the navigation update, but now I can't remember. I'm trying to get all the info I can before I get home and mess with it. Any help is appreciated.

The upgrade takes about an hour. Keep on waiting as you drive or leave it running...

So since I turned it back on, it just shows the Jeep logo, but I can hear the computer/disc running. Is this normal? It's not showing a progress bar or anything?
