Isn't that what adaptive cruise control is for? And lane departure warnings. And automatic headlights. And rain-sensing windshield wipers. And the various technologies that hit the brakes for people in rush hour traffic when they're turned around messing with the kid in the back seat or reading a book (yes, I really have seen drivers doing both of those things in traffic).
But seriously, the reason I looked in to lockpick and similar products a while back was to see what options there were for custom camera integration with factory in-dash screens. I want to see more of what's around me when I'm driving!
