I have the lifetime warranty. Does this leave a footprint?

Does anyone know if the air v2 unlocks navigation while in motion without custom software? I.E. Can you use all the features of the air v2 and update your radio from Chrysler uconnect site like normal?

Re: Lockpick UCONNECT AIR V2 Anyone use it?

i put one in my friends '15 eco and it will allow nav entry while moving , no idea if he tried updating through uconnect. i also installed headrest monitors for dvd, so you can play a dvd in the headrest and it will play on front screen. the air connect thing isnt really usefull. the unit has its own wifi connection (but no internet acess) so your phone will connect to the air unit but the phone has no internet access to play videos. maybe were doing it wrong but we couldnt get it it work. hes also said his screen will randomly shut off and nothing works, not sure if its related to the air unit or what. he has another unit to intstall in a '15 2500 so we will see how that one works

Yes and Yes. But the "Air" part is over-rated. I find myself NEVER using it. I do have the unit because it allows adding multiple cameras and not having to worry about custom firmware on the radio. I've had multiple problems with the radio in the past so I am used to replacing them frequently.

That sounds like a good idea.....the built-in nav doesn't really work very well at....navigating.

Does the Crux-AVICH-03 have a means to allow the heated seats to be on when the engine is not running (as was stock on my '08 diesel).....or allowing the sunshade to be 3/4 closed with the sunroof venting?
