Lockpick UCONNECT AIR V2 Anyone use it?

Hey everyone,
So im thinking of getting the UCONNECT AIR V2 by Lockpick.
UCONNECT AIR V2

It looks awesome and will enable a lot of locked in-motion features and add some new ones. I was wondering if anyone here is using it or has had any experience with this new product from them. I have sent them an email inquiring about some things. but I figured i would see if anyone here has some input.

yes and no. the only useful thing I could find would be it allows me to use the nav while in motion. I was hoping it would enable to UCONNECT features, but it doesn't. I was hoping to play dvd's on the main screen, which I think is possible, but the player in the console is only for music, and you would have to use an external source.

Gotcha thank you. I am playing around with the idea of throwing an apple tv in the mix. Need to clarify with them but I think their device puts up its own wifi hotspot (no internet connection) which would allow seamless airplay between iphone and apple tv.. so the possibilities are endless with what you can do there.

You can use your phones hotspot feature without an existing wifi connect to AirPlay on a connected Apple TV. This has been verified many times.

Wow that's expensive. Any reason why you're not interested in the RAX Jailbreak solution?

This was my next thought and I need to test it. But can you do this without using data? Or will it start racking up a large cell phone bill? Thanks again for your help!

I'm in between the UCONNECT AIR V2 and the Customtronix RAX Lockpick. Is anyone using one or the other in a GC ? I'm looking to be able to stream directly from my IPhone 6 to my screen in the most cost effect way.

Here is the most cost-effective solution (plug & connect style). It's wired for HDMI to Composite conversion, thereby even Youtube or Netflix apps are viewable while in motion:iCarKits - AVICH-03

Wi-Fi version:
iCarKits - WVICH-03

Re: Lockpick UCONNECT AIR V2 Anyone use it?

For that price I'd buy an iPad or tablet for video watching and more. You could probably find a deal on cheaper tablets for video streaming too... And the resolution would probably be better, no? Just a suggestion... WTH watches videos while driving anyways? Thats just bad, there are bikers and other drivers on the road you should be paying attention to (And dont tell me its for the passenger because an ipad or something similar would work just as good for them to hold). I do get the motion unlocking features for NAV and other things like bluetooth, but you can get those features at a lot less price as mentioned with RAX JB.

Not looking for a fight but please understand my POV with the above mentioned risks on video steaming and driving. I'm a biker so it affects me more when you see careless drivers all over the road...
