Re: LockPick V3 vs CHR550

Does the Nav-TV have the same problem as the CoastalETech's Lockpicks V.4 and CHR550 of mediocre video quality from RCA In (Line Bleed from Always on Rear Backup Camera)?

Is the Nav-TV the same thing as the TVandNav2Go MyGig Unlock V2?

Thanks

Re: LockPick V3 vs CHR550

I just did an install of a CHR-550 Lockpick on a 2012 Jeep Cherokee and I am having an issue with the quality of the rear view camera diminishing after the install. The picture is a lot more grainy and not nearly as crisp as it was all of 30 min before when i used it.

Is there any way to fix this? I haven't contacted coastal yet, but I can't understand why the picture quality of the camera would reduce to such an extent.

The other options work fine, navigation input while driving, DVD playback while in motion, Netflix streaming, Ipod integration (even though for this I would normally just use bluetooth). I am considering putting head rest video in at a later date, but not sure if I would use any of the other options included in on the product.

The install is extremely quick and start to finish less then an hour and that is being extremely careful and thoughtful of where I putting wires and how hard I was pulling on the center bezel. I managed to install it without any drilling whatsoever and have the new Ipod cable coming up through the center console.

Re: LockPick V3 vs CHR550

for example time to arrival?

It does not affect the evic, it says 0 on mph in the nav screen. Time of arrival still works.

Re: LockPick V3 vs CHR550

What is the best lock pick device for the 2013 JGC Overland? The actual "LockPick" or the "CHR550" ?

I dont need to view my back up cam while driving forward, but I would like to keep the image quality I have now. Which route should I go for this?

I have the NavTV AllGig and it does exactly what it's supposed to. Customer service is good too, and they found me a cheaper shipping rate as the one on the website was a bit steep.

Just another option...
