I received and installed my lockpick version 4 today and installed it. Installation is super easy. Just pay attention to make sure you don't bend any of the wire pins in the connector. I noticed after the install that my right speakers didn't work. Took it back out and noticed a bent pin. If you careful you shouldn't have this issue. Now here is my review:

Not often but sometimes products work perfectly and that is my experience with the lockpick. All I wanted was the ability to override the navigation input lockout and DVD video lockout and it works perfect.

I was initially concerned that I would lose the speed function on the Garmin nav. I looked high and low for a late build Overland with the 430n because I wanted the Garmin Nav. The speed feature is something that is really important to me.

When I spoke with the guy at Coastal he told me there was a way to turn the GPS override on and off on the touchscreen. I was skeptical because everything I read on this forum was that your speed will always read 0 mph. The guy at Coastal was right; it can easily be disabled.

In the TV tab where you turn the options on or off or activate various cameras there is a button called Automatic OVR (override). If it is off the navigation functions as stock and you cannot input an address nor can you watch a DVD while moving. If on, you can input address while moving and watch DVDs.

An added bonus is that you can toggle the Automatic OVR function using the power button on the stereo. You need hit the power button and the unit turns off, and then hit it again about a second later to turn it back on. This toggles the Automatic OVR on or off. If you hit the power button two times very quick it won't toggle. This feature was very important to me because the majority of the time I want the stereo in stock operation so my speed is displayed on the GPS. It's nice to be able to hit the power button twice and then input an address or watch a DVD.

This is a great product and I couldn't be happier.

Yes it is hidden and fully removeable. Dealer will never know it is there. It is plug and play and can be removed in less than 10 minutes. I wouldn't bother removing it for service unless you are having stereo problems or they have to remove parts of the dash.
