Minor gripe, 730N "Favorite Songs"

Hi there.

I've had my Overland for about 4 weeks now. I'm luvin it, but I have noticed something with the radio......

With the Sirius radio, I have approx 17 of the avail. 50 "favorite" song places/spots saved.
For some reason I've noticed that I end up hearing some of my "favorites" when casually scrolling through the channels.
After looking at the radios data, I see that all of my favorites are there, yet they never get played. And some of them are current songs that are in regular rotation.

Like I said it is minor, but has anyone else noticed this?
Any advice as to how I can fix it?

Thanks.

Noticed the same thing every now and then. Didn't bug me enough to try to fix it so I have no answers, unfortunately. But you are not alone.

Perhpas that staton isn't providing the data in advance of playing the song? Would be interesting to note if if happens with multiple Siriuis stations.

Re: Minor gripe, 730N "Favorite Songs"

I've come across the same situation and what I've noticed is that songs can have two titles, one with just the title and one with the year it came out in parenthesis. For example, 'Born to Run' and 'Born to Run (75)' exist for said track. The radio will only recognize the one you saved to favorites and not the other, so if you have the former saved it will likely alert you when it comes on the E-Street channel, but prob won't alert you when it comes on 70's on 7 since most tracks on that channel are suffixed with the year it came out. Just my observation.
