Missing Off Road Page

My 2017 Trailhawk is missing one item on its off road pages - a tilt and inclinometer. A few owners do have that feature and I have been told I would eventually get that in an update
Does anyone have any knowledge about this?

Hi Winky,

Can you PM our page with your VIN? I'd like to look into this further for you. Also, can anyone else who is looking for clarification on whether their vehicle should/will have the tilt and inclinometer off road page send me their VIN in a PM as well? Just put "Tilt and Inclinometer" in the subject line so I know what it is regarding, thanks!

Kudos to Jeep
I recently answered a survey from Jeep about my purchase of a 2017 Grand Cherokee trailhawk
I was pleasantly surprised with a email from them concerning a small concern l have with condensation in one of the tail lights l indicated in the survey
I even received a phone cal from a rep on this small issue
I have also received a response from the Jeep customer care rep on our forum(Andrea)
Concerning my lack of a tilt and inclinometer page on my off road pages. It is being looked into.
Thanks Jeep! Customer service number one so far!!

I heard from the rep I have spoken with from the survey I took.Well, let me first say I was impressed that they called me in the first place, and called me back with a response quickly
He stated that since my Trailhawk was manufactured before the tilt and inclinometer page (which they call roll and tilt)was setup I am screwed. That can only be installed at the factory!!! As I told him, why is it then in my users manual. He did not have a good answer. He offered to send me a owners manual free which supposedly is more detailed than the users manual which fits in your glove box.
I of course accepted but it will do little good to my problem
So another thing,if they make a larger owners manual than supplied at purchase why do they not give that to us?
I have not heard back from the customer care rep on JeepGarage forum, but will post when I do

Hi Winky,

I will pass the information you received along to my internal contact, they are continuing to look into this further so I don't have any additional updates at this time. As soon as I hear something I will post it publicly here to let everyone know! Thank you for your patience.

This is ridiculous... we were told it would be added as an update, on a $49,225 vehicle, and they can't even provide the complete version. I bought my 2017 JGC TH, fully loaded, traded in my 2015 Altitude because it had 34k miles and I didn't trust it under warranty)... it's sad when my $300 phone can provide over the air updates, yet my $49k vehicle can't... if Fiat doesn't change this policy, this will be my last Fiat product, and I already have 3,200 miles, so they have about 31k miles to figure something out. They should be embarrassed.

Other than this issue, the vehicle is great! I think it has the best seats for long distance driving I've ever sat in, I'm 6'2 and most seats give my legs or my butt cramps after about 2 hours. I can drive this vehicle for 4 hours straight and get out and no pain whatsoever. It's a game changer if you drive distances...who would have thought an "off road" vehicle would be good for long distance Hwy driving?

I didn't buy it to go off road, I liked the look better than the High Altitude and the dealer had a special on my specific vehicle (prob because it had been on the lot since October and mine was literally the last sale of the month and the quarter, Friday night 3/31 at 9:30 PM), so I didn't buy the Trailhawk to go off roaring, but as far as a daily driver, I do quite a bit of towing as well, it has been an excellent vehicle.

There is a difference in quality between my 2015 Altitude, and I'm not talking about the options. The 2017 is more refined, and is almost European level from an interior quality standpoint, again after the first 3,000 miles anyways. I come from BMW so I have experience driving and owning quality vehicles.

If Fiat could get the little things together, like on air updates for U-Connect, they would truly be on par with their European rivals.

I mentioned this a while ago, I took delivery of my Trailhawk in September 2016, surprising its so hard to add in an update.....considering that the Jeep videos on their youtube channel showed it and talked about it......and those vehicles appeared to be pre-production or test mules at the least. Its not a huge deal but I would have liked to have gotten the full Off Road Pages since such a big deal was made about feature......

Hi AkXb70,

I'll reach out to the brand to see if they can provide that information. Our engineers are continuing work on this issue, I will share any updates I receive on this thread. Thank you for your patience throughout this process!

Had the dealer inspect it as well. Initially they didn't think the off-road pages were a thing, but after having it for a day, the official response is that my Trailhawk doesn't have that option according to the build sheet, but they don't know what package would have given me the extra page.
