Multimedia EVIC screen useless

As it is the multimedia screen selection in the EVIC is basically useless. It only shows what music source you are currently on.

I had a 2009 Audi that would show what song was playing and show you the upcoming 10 or 20 songs if listening to MP3's etc. You could use the arrow keys on the steering wheel to select a new song, change the source, and a bunch of other features.

Seems like this would be an easy fix/addition in an update. Anyone with insider contacts want to grease the wheel for this?

I agree... Its pointless.
2 other things that could be changed:

1) when moving, remove the choices that are locked out because you are moving
2) FIX THE NAV TURN DIAGRAMS! seriously, every turn is shown as a T now.. when I KNOW it wasnt this way at the beginning.

I agree with both of you. That screen seems to be only using about 10% of its capability.

You're correct... that particular screen only shows the media source you're using.

If supported by your media device, BROWSE will show you folders, artists, playlists, albums and songs.

The INFO soft key gives you current track information.

Yes, but that is only on the uconnect main screen correct? We are talking about displaying all that on the EVIC screen, and controlling it with the steering wheel arrows and "OK" button.

It would be great, for instance, if using the NAV on the full uconnect screen and being able to browse songs through the EVIC.

I could also browse my bluetooth phone book through the EVIC style screen in my previous Audi.

Ahhh... now I understand what you're saying. Sorry about that.

Yes, I agree that it would be nice to have that info available in the EVIC.

I used to have nice cross street diagrams and sometimes after an update last summer, it changed to this stupid T intersection. And the street names are not fully spelled on the EVIC, and it is not a limitation of the number of characters either.
