My First "Glitch" Today

This morning, as I was heading to work, I noticed the preset stations on my SXM were blank.... Odd.

Anyways, I stopped shortly to pick something up. I get back in the car and start it up again. Everything is back to normal.....

Only 2800 miles. Bought on 10/2

If that's the worst that ever happens, you will be ok. Future software updates will probably help get rid of the glitch. I know there are known issues for this problem occurring, luckily so far it hasn't happened to me.

I have had it happen a few times. It took quite a while but the presets eventually showed back up.

It takes a couple minutes for the system to boot up.

That is excellent advice! The end of this month will be 9 years for me.

Maybe that's why I don't get upset when some minor feature on the Jeep fails to work as advertised. I don't even mind a couple hours at the dealership. I read a book (Kindle) which I spend a couple of hours a day at anyway.

My Jeep has never failed to do what it was purchased for; get me on the beach to go fishing ... and back home again.

It still hasn't found many fish.

Life is good!

I checked the glove box and the center console. Where did they put it?

Isn't it hanging on the tow "hooks"?

Re: My First "Glitch" Today

I had this happen on the way to work this morning. I drove about a mile or so before the presets showed up. I am assuming the Sat system was busy doing something as the other radio functions were fine (FM, AM, USB, etc.). Does the SAT system get updates from the Satellites from time to time possibly?

Yes. About twice per month, but should not affect pre-sets or anything else.
