My Overland is Built! - 730 RHR Update

For those of you tracking the new 730 RHR radio, I was shocked yesterday to see that my truck is now built and awaiting shipping. I ordered the truck on 01/11, and subsequently had my dealer change the order to add the 730 RHR radio and New Saddle interior. It went D1 on 02/07 with an original estimated delivery date of 02/22. I was frankly expecting actual delivery in early to mid-April.

Milous's tracking system shows a new delivery date of 02/28, and I just got an email from my dealer also stating that delivery to them could be 2/28. Hopefully, the truck includes the new radio and I'll get it next week. I'll keep you all posted. Ron

spiros - There are two types: The original 730N RER (replaced by the 430N RHB) followed (now) by the new 730N RHR which is standard on Summits, otherwise a $465 upgrade.

There are many threads about this - a quick forum search will give you all you want to know and more.

Yeah. I thought that might be the case. Too bad I'm possibly the least technically capable of anyone here! Stay tuned!

In the brochure for the Grand Cherokee it says the 730N radio is standard on the Overland, anyone else seen that? It's in the smaller brochure in the back of the regular one.

Why not just use this web address and replace it with your VIN instead and see what it shows on the online window sticker....

Re: My Overland is Built! - 730 RHR Update

It works about 2 days after the truck is shipped. It worked for me and that's how I verified what I ordered was in the Jeep.

Edit: Should also add once you take delivery it will no longer work.

OK, that 'splains it. I figured since Dan JGC posted the link it worked for him, and his Jeep (like mine) is just being built now.
