Re: NAV Forgets Where Home Is

Thanks Kaflyboy. I'm the original poster. I applied your fix and used Guide Me Home twice yesterday and it worked with no problem. Gotta love JeepGarage!

Re: NAV Forgets Where Home Is

The RHR will retain the home setting for a while but will forget. I think you'll get a few weeks and then poof. I've had my Summit since mid March and have re-set the home setting several times (just as Kaflyboy describes.)

I'm sure this will be addressd in the next (and first ???) firmware update for the RHR.

Re: NAV Forgets Where Home Is

This has happened to me twice in the 4 weeks that I've owned the Jeep, and I also lost addresses saved to the default address book folder. Addresses that were saved as favorites were not wiped out. Very strange.

Re: NAV Forgets Where Home Is

See Kaflyboy's fix above. I applied this fix and haven't had a problem since.

Re: NAV Forgets Where Home Is

I've tried Kaflyboy's fix without success, every couple days or so, the radio forgets where home is.

Nav forgot home today. I didn't activate home for several days in hopes it would forget the address.

Has anyone seen a tsb for this fix?

Re: NAV Forgets Where Home Is

Mine forgot one time. The next time I programmed the destination and then I think I set home from the destination menu. I don't remember exactly the steps but will try to remember to look later.

Mine forgets where Home is too, but it always shows up in Recent Places if I have used it recently. It then remembers Home on its own some time later.
