NAV has gone wonly

So in the last few weeks, the navigation in my 14 JGC has completely lost it's mind. Every single time I use the nav now, it will take me on every side street in the city, and avoid highways unless there is no other option. Drives that are 30 minutes are now 2 hours per the navigation.

I've not done anything to the NAV...and I've checked all the settings in the system. Anyone had that issue or figured out WTF happened?

Perhaps you have tried but just in case-
When you put in an address to nav to- and the big giant green button comes up – don’t hit the green button but rather look for something like an “options” button. I think that has settings for avoid highways, or go quickest, or go shortest distance. If you change it once it holds the setting going forward with no real indication- so if you accidently hit a bad choice just once….
