Nav On, Radio Off - Possible?

Have a 2012 Overland with 730N RHR System. Maybe I'm just missing something, but can you have the NAV (Map) active, and turn off the Radio? Or do you just have to turn the volume all the way down if you do not want the Radio on? Thanks.

You can also put in CD mode with no disc in the drive, or put it in HDD mode and press pause. Then press the NAV button. It will remain silent until you press the radio button again.

Or select aux but have no aux devices connected via USB.

CC, I believe my AUX button is grayed out unless a device is connected.

Thanks to all. The CD option works fine. But it seems to me that there should be the ability to not have the radio always "on" should be part of the system. It's nice to have quiet once in a while!

I agree. So far I like the Nav/Entertainment system pretty well, but this is one of those quirky things that makes no sense. Maybe someday . . . somehow . . . Jeep will fix this via a software upgrade.

Re: Nav On, Radio Off - Possible?

It does seen odd. On my 430N I just turn the radio volume down to '0'.

Hmmm... my tab is not grayed out. When I select the Aux tab I get the generic select device screen and when I select the device button the generic USB and BT ports are selectable. At one time or another an aux device was connected, but nothing is connected currently.
