Nav screen locked up

I have a 2015 grand cherokee. The other day after coming out of reverse, my nav screen turned blue and it stayed blue. Radio was dead and of course any other control that you would use the nav screen for. It stayed blue as I was driving, but when I came to a stop at a light, the rear view camera would come on. As soon as I took off, back to blue. I made it to the dealership while this was happening and the advisor saw it happening. By the time they got it to the back though, shut off the car and restarted it, no blue and of course no code. They cant do anything if they dont get a code. If and when this happens again I will probably have to take it right back to one of the techs so they can see it before shutting off the car. Has anyone else had or heard of this.

Steve

I have had the screen lock up but never blue. If it does it when driving, up you can hold the mute button and enter button down simultaneously for 10 seconds (the buttons in the center of the two radio knobs) or so and it will reboot the system. I have had to do it 2-3 times in the last year.

Re: Nav screen locked up

Double check what software version you are running on it and if possible update to the latest one for your GC. That would probably one of the 1st things the dealership will try otherwise it might be a bad radio or grounding issue.
