This has probably been discussed, but I am getting a call back from my dealer in about 15 mins and wanted to know if the 430N can easily be swapped out for a 730 by the dealer?

TIA

From what I have read and been told it is not a direct swap.
Could be wrong.

My opinion, repeat, opinion, is that it should be easy to go from a 430N to 730N but not the other way due to the 430N needing the external Uconnect module and additional/different harness. The Uconnect is built in on the 730N.

Can be done but pricey, most dealers wont give you credit for the 430N and the 730N is over $2K.

It's why I got a Garmin 1695, better then the Jeep navs anyway.

But yes it can be done

According to Milous (our inside source): No :(

Unfortunately, because of wiring differences, the 430 and 730 radios are not swappable.

The Garmin radios (mfd. by Mitsubishi) are not being discontinued, there was a recent supply shortage. They are scheduled to continue in the 2012 models.
IMPORTANT UPDATE

The 730N and the 430N radios cannot be swapped due to the Hands-Free Module configuration wiring (internal vs. external).
