8.4 AN Navigation is being activated for 30+ sec?

This weekend I used the Nav a lot because we were staying in an unfamiliar area. Do all the 2014s 8.4AN do this Nav is being activated every time you start the car? It's annoying sitting there in a hot car waiting till you can put in an address. It doesn't seem to matter if the car is out in the open and in a good sprint coverage area.

Turn on your AC

If you're in a hurry, remote start your truck as you're walking up to it. Your AC will turn on and it'll acquire a signal. By the time you get in and buckle, you'll be ready to go.

AC is on, it just doesn't work that great if you aren't moving. Good idea on the remote start.

Re: Navigation is being activated 30 sec?

yeah... it should say "Navigation acquiring signal" and it should do it in the background. My old Jeep (2011 laredo) with the RHB nav would just load... then all of a sudden the location would just update. I HATE that it doesnt do that. Let us put in an address, display the map, etc... then when the signal is good.. poof. move

and yeah.. takes about 15+ seconds (nothing to do with sprint, just GPS)
