New Guy Here, Instrument Cluster ?

Just got a leftover 2014 GC V6 Limited yesterday. Had a 1999 GCL V8. Totally different animal . I was worried that V6 would be a pig but it is fine. Car is granite with black interior. Got my duel exhaust and 9 speaker system that Jeep cheaped out on in 2015 models.. Also got the 8.4 screen/ nav. But, I have question as I am still learning about all the features ( a little intimidating ) but bit by bit I'm getting there. Here is my question......On my '99 I had a voltmeter along with coolant, fuel and water temp. gauges. On the "14 no voltmeter or battery check method. On my dash cluster (backround). I have outside temp, compass, and ave.mpg with fuel range .Where is voltmeter? Is this something I can add onto dash backround ? If so, how, and will I have to delete something on cluster display to make room?
Only mods for now will be S/S pedals and Weathertech window vents. Anyone used these window vents yet? I really appreciate any input On vents and voltmeter.

Thanks for info and fast response. Will try again, so far unable to get battery (volts) to come up. Possible that the only way to know is if a warning light comes on .

There is so much information, on so many screens, you probably just missed it. After a while finding the right screen becomes second nature. At first it is a bit overwhelming.

BTW - Congrats on the new ride.

Re: New Guy Here, Instrument Cluster ?

It's there; use the up/down arrow buttons to get the image of a GC grill, then use the left/right arrow buttons to find the gauge you want displayed. Takes a little getting used to, but just about everything you might want is there somewhere.

Re: New Guy Here, Instrument Cluster ?

Thanks for help on inst. cluster. I got the oil press and volts to display, but being "old school" I would like to have them on all the time like my compass and outside temp. Is there a way to do this? Also, question on FOBS. Say I and my wife both have key FOBS on us and approach the car. Who wins? Which Fob will override the other? Whoever gets there first.

Neither. They'll both "just work".

Congrats on the new Jeep!
