Once we/he figured that out, the rollback worked just like I thought it should.

For future reference, the file for my rollback actually has the name "rollback" in the file name. My original rollback file did not have that.
Glad you got it sorted out.

Just for the record though, did you do a factory reset or not? After you got the correct roll back.

Our long awaited North American Nav map update is SUPPOSED to be available in a couple of days. Do we just update this over the RAX system as we would normally or is there something special we need to do?

I wouldn't do anything until someone gets word from Customtronix what the plan will be.

Has anyone communicated with Magnus about this?

Taking a wild guess here.

Maybe rollback and reset to factory settings, install map update, reinstall jailbreak.

The boss will let us know soon enough.

No rollback needed, for EU maps Magnus create a special version of the last Firmware, we have to install this one and then we can install the new maps ....
I think for US maps will be the same procedure. ..

Re: new lockpick for the 8,4 uconnect, 99% software

hey guys, This is defiantly on my to do list.

Now that many of you have tested this software and add-ons, would it be possible to start a new thread of exactly what someone looking to buy and set up this software would need and how to?

I have gone through the pages of this thread and honestly I am so confused as it seems somethings have worked for some and not others, ordering and add-ons for screen casting etc.

After using the true rollback software, I did not need to do a factory reset to look like it was back to stock software.

What that means, is that i no longer could see the front cam, or the cargo cam, and the speed lockout was back, all with just the rollback, and not a factory reset.

Now, I am not sure if it would look ok if they hooked a computer to my Jeep, but for visual purposes, I did not need the factory reset.

I just had mine at the dealer for some work and did the rollback and I was able to reinstall Jeep's 14.25.5 without any problem (I did that as a test). without the factory reset. I did have to reinstall the RAX software twice when I got the vehicle back though to get everything working again.

That's exactly what I did, but one time was the charm for reinstalling the RAX software.
