One interesting new feature I noticed- when you use the GPS navigation the next turn shows up on your speedo display. Kind of handy imho.

Mine has been doing that since I bought the vehicle in May 2013.

Re: new lockpick for the 8,4 uconnect, 99% software

To all those who has not received the update links or the roll back links for the 2013/2014 NA or the 2015 NA feel free to contact me and I will pm you the links when I am home.

The links are different for the MY13/14 and the MY15 both are updating them to 15.26.1020 for NA

I also have the rollback to factory links if you need to have major service done at a dealer and wish to fully remove the jailbreak

Please state in pm what year you have

Go Jeep

Hmm, wasn't that always a selectable option?

Not for me. It only appears when there is a turn. Maybe it was standard for the Summit, I have a Limited. Just guessing.

This is a normal setting in Uconnect, there is a tick box to turn it on or off.

Re: new lockpick for the 8,4 uconnect, 99% software

Yep I had that prior to the update.

For me, the update did fix my iPod connect via usb issue. Basically whenever I connected my iPod via usb after a day of not being connected my iPod used to take a long time to start playing music or I would need to manually select my playlist. Now after the update it starts seamlessly.

Also, just recently noticed that playing my iPod or iPhone via Bluetooth the sound is much better than the usb. I always used the usb primarily because it keeps charging my device. I wonder if I can play it via bt while connected. Haven't tried.

Also the back up cam is not jittery as before. Very pleased so far.

i found that a little odd.

I was having remote start issues that started the day after FCA released the firmware - so i rolled back to the last official 14.x.y version and then updated to the official 15.x.y

Both moves kept my settings.

Last night i reinstalled the customtronix 15.x.y over the official 15.x.y and it blew away my settings. No biggie, but i was surprised since the other 2 moves worked ok.

anyone having issues today with using the keyfob functions off the app or web? Someone reported on another forum that they lost remote with the customtronix update and i think maybe i'm seeing the same thing....

Don't know if you are referring to me but i've posted a few times regarding this on this forum and another.

I honestly don't think its a customtronix issue cause it seems to be happening to alot of other folks. I have an IOS and all the recent reviews from the appstore are people indicating it does not work after the uconnect update. Maybe the issue is with the app itself? IDK. But i have un-installed and re-installed app with no success. Even tried it on the moparownerconnect site and that pretty said my pin was incorrect. I changed it and now i get a message from the app itself indicating its trying to connect to server...

It kinda sux that one is paying for this service only to be non functional. Best believe i wont hesitate to do a chargeback!

While i too have had regular problems since the day after FCA released the update - no matter what version- I now think it's customtronix also with the latest release from them.

I saw someone on a durango forum describe the issue said he rolled back and all was well and he let Customtronix know and they're checking.

I installed the customronix version last night and then i had the exact same symptoms you descibe. Pin error and all. I tried a factory reset and then you have to re-register uconnect on the radio. I kept getting an error "could not connect to server". I rolled back and was able to re-register and now all works well.

While it makes me very happy from a security point of view if it's the case- I'm starting to get bummed that sprint/FCA have implemented some sort of check of the software on the radio and if it isn't "clean" they are blocking network/server access. Great idea from security point of view. But sad idea if we have to pick remote features or Customtronix. The remote features cost too much for too little so customtronix wins in my book but still a bummer. (but screw it- remove the modem files and kill remote access and give us the SRT apps!)
