if moving from factory to customtronix then yes.

Magnus has said, but i have not tried, that if you move from customtronix to customtronix that the token isn't needed.

That's correct. I had done a roll back to 14.25 to install official uconnect 15.26 which deleted my token. Upon speaking to imblackedout and a few others i was able to copy and paste my token to new customtronix 15.26 ver and worked without an issue.

Note: I copied token only becuase i had done rollback which essentially removes token and all other stuff, so if you have not done a roll back your token is already in the radio therefore you do not need to have a token in the token folder.

Re: new lockpick for the 8,4 uconnect, 99% software

I am glad to see that all things are going well for the updaters here and again if you need the links feel free to leave me a PM I am glad to help and keep everyone up to date and happy seems like all the app links and all is functioning correctly now with the last updates

Now kinda off chat subject but ..........

From the recall notice from Chrysler it states that they will send us a free usb drive (always into free things ) (CUSTOMERS AFFECTED BY THE RECALL WILL RECEIVE A USB DRIVE WHICH THEY MAY USE TO UPGRADE VEHICLE SOFTWARE, PROVIDING ADDITIONAL SECURITY FEATURES INDEPENDENT OF THE NETWORK-LEVEL MEASURES.) Chrysler Group Recall Assistance Center at 1-800-853-1403

So I called on that and they stated well if we get that in place we will do that but you can just take it into the dealer and they will instantly upgrade you and I said what do you mean in place it says in the recall you WILL send it as the very first line of the recall and with the dealer there is no such thing as instantly ....

Well just a few min please ..... ok we will place you on the list to send out a free usb drive if they become available

I am just going to bet they just contact the dealer to see if they will me contact me to do it instantly instead or I will never hear from them again, but they should not make statements in recalls just to keep out of trouble if they don't plan to stand behind them is my idea what do you think am I wrong?

Just a heads up the dealership WILL check your radio when you go in for service. The recall is in their system and must be checked if it has been completed or not.

I told my dealer that I already updated but they still checked. Not sure if they just looked at the radio software version or actually tried to update. Regardless they said nothing about the jailbreak and cleared me in the system.

Yes I know the chances that we do take with patches and our own mods even for oil changes I disable cameras and make the software look near to factory and try to keep close friends to the techs and the owner of the dealership (wink wink) after I first did it took it in for an fast repair on the air cond vent and the tech said to the owner hey look at this cool front cam (I had forgotten) and the owner just told me "we did not see that this time" whew I bought the mopar lifetime warranty and I do plan to make a lifetime of use of it

Re: new lockpick for the 8,4 uconnect, 99% software

I did the rollback using the last version, took the Jeep to the dealer for a recall yesterday, and they also updated the software again to the last version. Today I tried to install 15.26.102 and it seemed to install ok but I no longer have my front camera. Any idea what to try to get my front camera working again?

Did it prompt you to install the from cam option after the 12 step install? May need to insert stick again and check for those options.
