Did you give them your VIN? I didn't, had to send them an email with my VIN, then they sent me an email so I could pay with paypal, then finally I received ANOTHER email with the link. Not the smoothest transaction, but it worked.

Yeah. They will send you another link with an attachment. That attachment goes into the token folder on the download.

Thanks for the quick response. Yes I did give the VIN and stated that is was not an SRT. I guess Its just a waiting game now until they send the link.

They're closed until tomorrow, so you probably won't get anything until then. I'm still waiting to hear from them about my uconnect issue since installing.

Zhe Wiz having the same problem as you. Nav while in motion Lockout works but my Uconnect apps including the SRT app keep saying no active subscription. If you hear back from them please let me know what the solution is thanks

Re: new lockpick for the 8,4 uconnect, 99% software

Well I sent an email to customtronix regarding my problem with the uconnect apps and they responded quickly. He said you need to do at least 3 or 4 hard factory resets in order to make it work sometimes. So i did them and the SRT app now works perfectly. All the other uconnect stuff like Pandora and slacker radio and I heart radio has now totally disappeared of the screen to god knows where. No big deal I can stream it through Bluetooth off my phone still anyway. The issue may be is that in Sweden I don't think Uconnect comes with all these extra apps like Pandora, Slacker radio etc. and I don't think the software we uploaded is coded correctly for these apps. I could be wrong just a guess

Re: new lockpick for the 8,4 uconnect, 99% software

I haven't heard a word from them, will have to try again. Not pleased about having to decide if I want the other apps OR the SRT app, so I may need to get a refund. That isn't a very good solution!!

Hopefully it is like the original release of the uconnect software that introduced the apps. If I remember correctly it took a few hours for the apps to appear.

That seems like a good possibility! Joeyd, let us know if you get the apps back after a bit! I'm afraid to do a hard reset until I find out. Don't want to lose my apps!

Re: new lockpick for the 8,4 uconnect, 99% software

No problem will let you know how it goes. Every thing else including the smart phone apps all still work its just no pandora/iheartradio and slacker radio app. The Yelp app is still there and working. The hard reset isn't anything crazy its just holding the two drivers side temp up and temp down buttons for 5 secs then a screen will pop up scroll down to RESET FACTORY DEFAULTS AND HIT OK. Only thing you will lose is probably your apps I spoke about before all your presets and you need to reconnect your phone to the system. Other than that real easy. If worse comes to worse you can always uninstall the software and go back to stock.

Re: new lockpick for the 8,4 uconnect, 99% software

Well I decided to reset, but things are still not quite right.

SRT App works, BUT time (set to sync with GPS) is wrong, uconnect stuff (registration, wifi and store) still doesn't work, and the Pandora, iheart and slacker apps are gone.

Tech support told me to reset while outside. Tried that four times, same result every time. This is definitely NOT as smooth as led to believe. Starting to get a bit annoyed. Not sure how to back to stock either, since the stick I made to upgrade to the latest version is no longer recognized. If in at startup, nothing happens. If I use the Customtronix stick I can remove the two features (speed lockout and SRT app) but all other symptoms (uconnect apps not working) remain.

Sorry you are having so many issues, It definitely was smooth as advertised for me.

If you download the current software from the Uconnect site it doesn't recognize and load? Are you giving it enough time to recognize the usb? When we originally got the apps added with a uconnect update, it took a lot of people several hours to a day before there apps started to come up. I remember this very vividly.

I know you are annoyed but give it a day or so to alleviate itself.
