My screen reported 1025 after installation of the new software. 1022 would be a downgrade. I have kept my olf software and the date I downloaded 1022 was 8/1/2015. The file I downloaded the other day was titled "Install- One-Jailbreaker-15.26.1025-NA.rar."

Yep Install- One-Jailbreaker-15.26.1025-NA.rar. is what I got n downloaded. When I put stick in it reads it and asks about installing 15.16.1022 which is what I already have, then I get the questions about front cam etc. did entire install and once done after I had already placed splash.png didn't get anything asking to install. I'll try again in a bit.

Re: new lockpick for the 8,4 uconnect, 99% software

Update: tried it again and now I was able to install 1025. But now I can't get it to read the splash.png on either empty stick or installation stick. Where exactly on the instal stick? In my PC I get folder> Folder has 4 or 5 files after I download and extract the software> do I place the splash.png in the same file as the software? Currently I just through it in the stick and is now making the 6th file on that stick...

I just put it in the root directory of the USB installation stick.

Re: new lockpick for the 8,4 uconnect, 99% software

I was wondering if the 15.26.1025-NA software update offers any changes besides the splash disabler?

Also can the splash photo be a JPEG simply renamed to splash.png or does the file itself have to be .png?

Thanks in advance.

I haven't noticed anything different other than the splash changes. The radio screen does appear much faster than it did before which I do like. On my 2014, the software doesn't quite work as advertised. The new splash screen (which is the picture I include in my messages here) doesn't always come up and, when it does, the icons for the seats and steering wheel are still present. I notified Customtronix and they are looking into it.

I just took a .JPG and renamed it, then I opened it in a picture viewer as a .PNG and saved it again. Maybe that's my problem, but, at least, it gets rid of the time consuming JEEP screen and the following one.

I was actually naming the file "splash.png" and it wasn't working.

The .PNG file should simply be named splash on the blank USB stick. Be patient when you plug-in the USB because it took some time to be recognized.

Re: new lockpick for the 8,4 uconnect, 99% software

I really like how much quicker the 8.4 is with the splash disabler. About 50% of the time my splash image does not show, but the 8.4 boots just as quick.

Now we're waiting on the update for the 16.13 UConnect update. Hopefully, it will be out in a couple of weeks.

On the other hand, I don't really care that much since I don't use an Apple phone.

I have an iPhone, I have Customtronixs & I tried to update with USB down load on my own but it will not recognize the files. Maybe we will hear something even if its just they are are working on it,
We know it will take some time!

Are you attempting the update with the files from FCA? If so, you would loose your customtronix software upon update. I heard the update from custontronix is just a couple weeks away.
