I thought the issue with the rear camera is that power gets cut to it above 10mph. If you spliced power directly in to the correct wire in the harness, then it should work. IIRC.

This is true when I installed a hardware type lockpick unit in my 2008 GJC and I actually got everthing working perfectly but in my 2014 unit, with this new software based lockpick unit, this no longer applies. I think something has to be done with a module that recognizes speed. A wire needs to be cut from this module to the camera and then power is supplied at all speeds. Where this module is and what wire needs to be cut is a mystery to me. I kind of read about it and thought I would like to do this sometime. The thought is to cut this unkown wire, install a switch to allow the option to power the camera all the time. I think having power to the camera all the time might burn the OEM camera out in the long run so the switch would give flexibility because you would not need this available all the time. I guess when this wire is cut you loose the grid pattern for backing up. which is another reason to put a switch in.

Customtronix has given me instruction that will allow me to attempt to execute my plan to cut and switch in the LIN bus interface that controls the rear OEM camera speed limit logic. Does anyone know the location to the Body Control Module (BCM). I use to have access to all the wire diagrams from Chrysler but they seem to have now password protected it. I think the BCM is located on the passenger kick plate but I am not sure. There is a orange/Dark Blue wire that needs to be cut that will allow the camera to work at all speeds. Any help appreciated.

It probably is how the USB stick is formatted. By default on a Mac it will format it to Mac OS Extended. It needs to be FAT, which will also limit you to a 2GB partition. I had issues with ExFAT, only FAT32 would work for me.

Works on my 2015. The trick is to back out to the main media menu after you start playing a Blu-ray, and THEN select the icon toward the bottom right that expands the screen.

Re: new lockpick for the 8,4 uconnect, 99% software

Just came back from jeep for service. I currently have the intermittent "Vehicle Phone Requires Service" message. They couldn't find anything, and need more time. I needed my car. Can this be fixed with another update from you Magnus?

Have you come across this?

My GPS has me in the middle of the ocean atm . Everything else works though

has anyone installed this using a wired connection to an iPhone for mirroring? My set up will not connect if I unplug my phone, and then replug it in. I will lose the mirror capabilities. has anyone else come across this problem?

new lockpick for the 8,4 uconnect, 99% software

After $127.62 diagnosis, they updated the software which I already have the latest it seem like it fixed the problem. But then when I tried to use the uconnect app from my phone and even from the website. The remote start, lock and unlock still would not work. But the GPS was back online. But the time would not update via satellite and the uconnect app symbol on the radio had no 3G sign or bars. Called Uconnect, they couldn't figure it out. Made a trouble ticket, waiting to here back from them. In the meantime went back inside to dealer. Tech comes back out, reset modem, now everything works. Showed me how to as well. Two hours later I'm getting the error message again. GPS and time work, but no remote start. Have to bring back tomorrow, any ideas guys and gals?
