I am fully aware, I have been running the RAX jailbreak for a couple months now. On the Jeep I don't have the cargo cam so I am hoping of a way to get around the factory rearview cam issue. I'm aware it is more of a factory system thing...

Re: new lockpick for the 8,4 uconnect, 99% software

I was "treated" by Magnus for all the issues I originally had and for the ongoing beta testing I've been doing, so I can't say I know which "package" I ended up with.

The cam in that link looks like the one I have, that's likely the one.

In fact, I have to dip under that speed for 1-2 seconds before the front cam turns on.
I agree, 11 mph sounds pretty high to have the front camera come on. I'm thinking of being in traffic, etc, and the cam constantly going on and off. It's not nearly as often that you drop below 5 mph on the highway. Is the threshold configurable?

Well it is really closer to 9 -10 mph and as soon as you get above that it goes back off again unless you force it back on.

No it is not USER configurable for the speed you can have it active or not active from the installation method and at any time can be removed.

When I first installed that option i did not care for it, later i got used to it and i use it now. If at any time you dont want it there for that moment then you can touch the screen and it is back to normal radio ect..

Magnus did mention at one time he could customize it, but I'm liking knowing where my nose is and what is in front of me.

If im on a trail or anything it gives you that look ahead advantage of the path.

My suggestion is to try it for a month or so then decide, for Magnus will get more feed back and adjust things acvordingly i am sure for our market is different then the European one.

And as your stuck in traffic jams you can always make some additional money doing inspections of the cars ahead and behind you and never have to leave your car. LOL
