Does anyone know if u purchase the gold and already have a reverse cam and then add the cargo cam on top of that. How would the video source between the two back cams? Would I need to add a switch for my 3rd cam added on??

Also the harness between the gold and silver is the same right? So if I wanted a 3rd can I could just buy the silver and an extra cam instead of the gold, correct??

Thanks,

There are six new pins added in the harness for two new video sources (front cam and cargo cam). The stock harness already has rev cam. They are not tapping into the pins for the rev cam. The radio is already equipped to handle a cargo cam and front cam, the pics are just not connected in the harness. The new harness has connectors for your video sources there.

To switch inputs, press the Back button on the radio. Watch the Youtube videos. There is great information in all of them.

That's not in the software yet, but Magnus mentioned in a video that he wanted to implement that soon.

How is the front camera powered? What is the cleanest way to power the front camera? Thanks.

[QUOTE=imblackedout;1065081]OK Everyone Magnus now has the site updated to provide the Jeep Garage members discounted and special pricing..
Normally in 24 hrs you will be approved for the special purchase rights and you will have to clear your cookies and log back into your account.

the pricing will be as follows:
Bronze 148 usd 108 euro includes the lock out and VES option if equipped from factory
Silver. 249 usd 179 euro includes the RAX-Jailbreak software and 1 harness and 1 camera
Gold. 449 usd 325 euro includes the lockout software and 1 harness and 2 cameras since the jeeps have different cargo/brake light it will not come with the brake light assembly as mentioned in the videos
/QUOTE]

Ordered the silver and had a rough time of it, but I think they have things worked out now. It's hard to tell as they are not very customer service oriented but they do respond to your email questions, but not in the nicest way. Here's are few observations that may help others, hopefully, they will have a smoother process than I was/am having. FYI, I expect to have to do a little bit of extra work in return for getting an early adopter discount, but ...

Here we go:
I created a second account on the customtronix site to make it a forum account as suggested by imblackedout. Never received an email confirmation, not sure if it was supposed to be quick or take a business day to receive it. Emailed them back the next day and explained the situation.
It then took a while, but eventually they got my new account set up with the forum discount and then a little time to get the actual discount to show up on the website info page.

Asked them to confirm if the silver package included a camera as it didn't show this on their website, but according to imblackedout it did include the camera. Took a while to get that straightened out as well, but yes it does include a camera.

Ordered the silver package and selected the paypal option and the order page came up with a page stating "Thank you. Your order is validating.". Nothing else happened on the order page. Again, it took a while to get this figured out, but at some point I logged back in and then I got to another page that had my order info and a link to actually make a payment.

Be aware that shipping to the US is an additional 30 Euros, this is added in when you select the silver package.

Not to long after that, I received my download email with the license token and a link to 4 video's on youtube as well as a reminder not to ask them stupid questions.

Download the software and expanded the RAR file but there was no readme file or any instructions that came with it. The download has two ISO files as well so my first response was to email customtronix "again" with a question about which ISO file to use. I then received a rather abrupt response telling me to read the manual . Hmmm, RTFM, well, there is no link to a manual, and it's not in the download, maybe they meant, sit and watch all the youtube videos until you find the one with the install instructions. Personally, I have no desire to watch any more Magnus video's and not sure why a brief step-by-step install document is not available with a $300 purchase. Something similar to the jeep installation\upgrade instructions would be great.

imblackedout can you help get them to put an install doc together.

Hopefully, the process will get better; I know imblackedout is working with them to improve the communication with forum members and I'm hoping that everyone runs smoothly from here on in and that we have a solid product here.
