Drag and drop if already downloaded

or if it is in email right click, save as then save it to tokens directory

What's the difficulty or question?
The nexus player has HDMI output. The HDMI output needs to go into a HDMI to composite converter.

The composite output of the converter goes into the RAX harness video input.

There is nothing special about the nexus player that will cause it to be different than any other video source.

Yes all of that is not difficult. I have connected it but I want to stream from my mobile device to it. Screen cast. The push 2tv crates it's own adhoc network and I was going the nexus player did also.

Nah the nexus player will mirror a device on the same network only. So you are back to the issue with your phone creating the WiFi network.

The good thing about the nexus player is that you shouldn't need to mirror your phone since the nexus player itself can provide content and has apps.

CLStech, I've appreciated your thoughtful posts on the lockpick over the past few months while I wait for my MY15 to get delivered.

If you were buying a new media device to attach to the lockpick these days, what would you choose? Ignore cost constraints.

It would definitely be the nexus player. I'm confident that platform will be updated consistently. And I'm an android guy.
I just haven't made the plunge myself yet!

Have you researched it enough to know whether you can:

1) Leverage your cell phone's data plan via wifi / bt tether?
2) Meaningfully work with the Nexus Player UI given the screen size?
3) Screencast from your phone?

It also looks like the player has a microusb that you could plug a SD reader or HD into.
