Btw, do we need to roll back for this update? Is there a connection with the UConnect system for this TSB?

Good question I don't know. So while I'm there I will do oil change, tsb and also have them do some recall work like the steering module and whatever else. Maybe not the sun visor oh maybe air bag.

Do they have the parts for the airbag recall yet? I received a notification that they would notify me.

I don’t know, but my humble opinion is the harder we make it for FCA to find out about RAX the better. If they don’t know they won’t futz with things. If they do know they might decide to strengthen the ‘safeguards’ against hacking.

I have an ’07 Pacifica- used to be you could copy your nav DVD to your computer. Do a hexedit search for a few characters and edit them yourself. Copy back to fresh DVD and you had your own free in-motion hack. After a few years of that Chrysler began to encrypt the files so that was no longer possible. So I get a little queasy of ‘letting the cat out of the bag’ and giving them any reason to make life harder for Magnus and his work.

Sounds like a bad flash drive and/or download. Try downloading to another flash drive. Good luck.

Yea im thining it might be that it opens as a winrar file.

So i went to dealer for the tsb and said they dont have the software yet for the eco memory. I smell bs. Also did not have software for the steering column Module. Just had the sunvisor recall. I decided to just do oil change and deal with all that later.
