Not sure in the rollback software unfortunately. I don't see why that would cause an issue though.

you opened it in winrar on your computr and then extracted the contents to the USB stick- correct?

so there was a swdl-fo.iso file on the stick and then maybe a readme file with a version name/description- right?

What is the TSB number for this, I can't see it on the WK2 site?

Let's see. Not in my laptop now, but yes I downloaded file, then opened it with winrar ,dragged file from downloaded folder to usb stick.

Yes I remember seeing the swdl and the read me file (rollback oem US or NAM I think).

I used 2 usb, and same thing. I had used the 2nd one I tried on the uconnect update so I know it's not the usb stick. And I did delete prior contents. Can't think of what I did wrong.

Yup i printed that out and took it with me. I'll just wait a month or so. I wonder if I go elsewhere they'll want to do it since other dealers tend to refer u back to purchase dealer.

All I did is just insert usb stick I have the RAX on, then uninstall opposite of install prompts you get. I believe the token still stays there though.

Re: new lockpick for the 8,4 uconnect, 99% software

You have two options, rollback to the original version with the rollback software on the usb or just deinstall the tax options, cams, aps, etc, for this you only need your token file, put it into a usb and this is it, follow the questions to uninstall the option s you want.

Rolling back with the "rollback software" requires reinstalling the factory software. At least that's how it was for me.

generally their will be a file *.rar in your downloaded folder. You can NOT drag that to the usb stick and have it work.

You have to open the *.rar file with winrar or the like. Then from drag the files from inside winrar to the usb stick.

For roll back- make sure on the us stick there is just the *.iso file and maybe some other descirpter and no *.rar file.
