New member here! Nav question

Hey guys, my wife and I just purchased a new 2014 GC Limited.. It has the 8.4A head unit with uconnect.. I noticed the unit is listed in the manual as being navigation ready. Has anyone gotten the nave hooked up? And how would i go about doing that?

Thanks in advance.

It's a dealer installed option to have the nav activated when you have the 8.4A unit. When shopping, I asked my dealer about this and he quoted "about $500" for the activation. I opted for the 8.4AN which comes with the nav activated.

Re: New member here! Nav question

Mark is correct...you have to have the dealer apply the activation and the fee is generally in the neighborhood of $600. Your dealer should have also told you when you were buying that it would have been less expensive to buy a vehicle with the 8.4AN up front, which also has more features than the 8.4A plus Nav update. You might try and use that fact to negotiate a little on the price of the Nav update if you choose to move forward with it.
