Map enhancements have to come from the dealer via the TSB or from Navteq directly.

I appreciate all of the updates. They have always installed for me without any issues over the past few years. One day I sure would like Chrysler to make their RHR blue tooth music compatible with my windows phone. Maybe someday. I carry an extra IPod just to connect via blue tooth to music.

Are you sure this isn't just an issue with the Windows Phone? I use all kinds of android, apple and Blackberry products with the RHR... Never had an issue with wireless audio playback. In fact I often switch between multiple bluetooth audio sources and phones while driving.

Tried the update via DVD tonight. Verified the disk then began install. Ran for about 5 minutes or so and said there was an error and that it was aborting the install. The radio rebooted. It reports it is running 2.184 but functions other than the radio do not work (nav, phone).

I can put the DVD back in and the software update starts and displays upgrade from 2.184 to 2.184 with Yes and No. It will not allow you to press either button.

Is there any way to force or start the installation again?

Sounds like a corrupt file. Download from scratch and create a new disc.

I recently updated my 2011 Durango RHR from 1.9 to 2.184. After the install it seems all Voice Recognition is no longer working and when I push the button the commands that used to show up on the screen now just shows a ". Has anyone seen this before? Is there anyway to fix the issue.

Sox, thanks for posting the update. I believe when i looked a week or two ago you had several past revisions on your mydrive but now all i see is 2.184. Do you happen to have the 1.9 version so i can try to go back to the original firmware?

So, i have the RHR software installed.

But, i have downloaded the gracenotes three different times and created three different dvds from the iso and it just wont install on my system. It gets half way and i get the serious error thing. I have deleted all music files on the hard drive...

what am i doing wrong?

here is a screen grab of my system info.

i have a 2013 overland.

I'm using a 2011 iMac on the latest version of OSX.

I do not have access to PC anymore that has burning capabilities...the iMac we have is the last computer we own that even has a cd player.

Install of the software update was fine. It's the gracenotes that do not want to work for me.

I have done a few passes using disk utility at 2.4x (the lowest it seems to want to burn)

Then tried again using an app called Disco at 2x...still no go.

It will get to 2/3 of the way through the update in the car and then give me an error.

Also, Sox, i'm still getting that problem where if i change the seat position using the driver preference button it deletes all of my sat radio presets...was that supposed to have been fixed in this last software update?

Thanks a bunch!

I just purchased a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. I believe it is a 730n/RHR (has voice commands, etc.), but my software version, grace notes version, etc. seem to be WAY different than what everyone else is posting here (see image below). Can someone please explain why, and whether or not I need any updates? When I search on Jeep's website using the last 8 characters of the VIN it tells me I do not need an update, but I want to make sure.

Thanks!

Hi Evan

you have not a RHR you have the 430N / RHB MyGIG, you can update to the last Software Version 50.00.07.

Ah, ok. I must have the add-in Bluetooth and voice modules or something then I guess because it looks like the 430n doesn't typically come with that stuff....

You said 50.0xxx, but I notice that link you included mentioned 60.0xxx. Should I stick to the 50.0xxx, and not upgrade to the 60.0xxx??

Thanks again!!

Ok, I've downloaded the following. Will attempt to install later today.

430N_RHB_RBZ.50.00.07.iso
Travel Link Update 430N RHB Radio.rar (I assume I need this as well)

I didn't see a Gracenotes version that matched my model though. There is an RHP, RHR, and an RHW. The version I have is WAY different than those too (10F5)....

Also, it seems strange everyone was discussing the 33.00.xx and the 50.0.07, but no one ever mentioned the version that I have (44.00.01)?
