OEM Radio Alternative

Tired of the factory radio?
Don't have the features you want in your stock radio?

Here's an alternative I just found:
Raxiom Wrangler GPS Navigation w/ Bluetooth & Back-Up Camera J101300 (07-15 Wrangler JK) - Free Shipping

The site states that it is for the Wrangler, but we all know that the 430N and the 730N radios have been used across the entire Chrysler lineup, so it should be a "plug and play" situation for the Grand Cherokee also.

States that it works with the factory UConnect and steering wheel controls.

The "iGo" web site seems to indicate that there are both 'free' and 'paid' updates available so I'm not sure which is offered with the radio, but I would think it would be cheaper than the current factory updates ($150 per update every 2 years....).

Some Wrangler forums already have insight on this radio:

Including being able to change the startup splash screen:

Re: OEM Radio Alternative

And if impecunious for about $100 and your cell phone you can add Internet, Hands Free, SatNav with live traffic alerts, many songs and albumns, backup camera, and engine diagnosis. And have the same experience in another car for about $50 more.

IMNSHO this is something that should go with you and not the car.
