I ordered the UCT-13+...the other model doesn't add AV input.

Re: Ordered my NavTV yesterday

Well, our Limited S has a factory nav system, but it has inputs for front backup camera and av input. I was hoping for an HDMI input so I can also connect my iphone, but no dice.

Re: Ordered my NavTV yesterday

Just curious why people pick NAV over Lockpick? Aren't they more expensive?

Re: Ordered my NavTV yesterday

I did a lot of research between the two. Not many shops in Phoenix recommend the Lockpick. Plus people have told me they lost picture quality for the factory backup camera. I'm. Of interested in buying the cheapest product on the market to integrate into my Jeep's computer. I'm more interested in buying the best piece on the market.

Re: Ordered my NavTV yesterday

Last comment I read on the NavTV preference was that it is American made, not sure if that's a fact I myself have the Lockpick but this is on a 2012.

Pharcyde, did you install yours already?

Are you planning to do the install yourself Pharcyde? If not, who do you have in mind for your electronics stuff in the Phoenix area?

Re: Ordered my NavTV yesterday

Typically I would install myself and I have installed 95% of my previous projects, there is just something about messing around with the computer of my wife brand new 45K SUV. The instructions and setup look pretty straight forward, but I am passing on this one.
I actually have an audio guy I have used before that is fantastic. Mobile Audio in. Mesa will be doing this and installing a hidden DVD player.
I can get you his info if interested.

If he's got experience with the 2014 JGC, uConnect, and you recomend him, then I'd like his info.

Thinking about getting the JL Stealthbox and amp installed. I've always done my own electronics too but, even though they've always had good outcomes, the process itself has never been a pretty one

And now that it's a 100+ degrees for the next 4+ months, I have even less desire to start a technical task in the garage.
