Got my overland 2011 with 730N (RHR).
Pairing the phones no problem, but when making calls or receiving calls could not hear or talk.

I took it to the dealer, and after 60 min, they told me that it needs a software update.

Has anybody had the same issue.

I tried 3 phones and same issue

The RHR blows. Everyone thought it was going to be the Holy Grail when it replaced the RER, but it's just plain awful. There are a lot of weird little issues like this that can probably be fixed by a software update... hopefully one is coming out soon.

My RHR works well too, no issues with my Blackberry. My chief complaint at this point is the VERY limited Voice Command with my Ipod. I'd like to be able to call up an Artist or play list...not just the next/previous track. Am I missing something?

I signed up just to reply to you.

I have a 2011 SRT-8 Challenger with a 730N RHR and the same issue. I tried my phone (iphone 3G latest OS version), my wife's phone (iphone 4, latest OS version), and a friend's random newer-model Android phone. On all of them bluetooth audio streaming works (music). On all of them it recognizes the phone, syncs contacts, makes calls. On all of them I cannot hear the phone call through the car speakers and they cannot hear me speaking to them. Tried the fuse, tried turning volume up on phone and stereo, tried a fresh install of the iPhone OS...nada. No audio on calls.

Can someone who has a 730N RHR that makes phone calls you can hear through the car's speakers tell us what software version you have for the 730N RHR?

I am not sure of the software version but the bluetooth works fine and I can hear via the car speakers.

The problem I have is the Ipod does not work well when connected using the usb port. It tends to lock up.

Also the addresses I save in the navigation keep getting deleted. It happened three times already.

I have the Overland Summit. I hated this car after a few days of owning it.
After owning it for three months I've come to really like it, even if the 730n is a piece of crap.

So far I have not been able to find any software updates for the 730N RHR.
