Parksense Stays On in Drive

An odd thing started to happen recently. When backing up the rear view camera comes on (normal), and continues to stay on for a time when I put into drive (not normal). Before it would turn off immediately, but now it stays on for a short duration of time, but I can turn it off by tapping the screen. When I go from reverse to park it turns off as it normally has.

Weird watching the rear view camera as you drive away.

Anyone else seen this? I do not have the technology package.

There is a delay setting in the set up screen.

Re: Parksense Stays On in Drive

Thanks, I will check that out. I was playing with the settings a while back, and probably set the camera time differently.

Yeah sounds like you turned on the delay mode.

Re: Parksense Stays On in Drive

I have the delay mode on mine and I love it. Helps a lot when you're backing up and don't get it right the first time. Having the camera stay on in drive helps line up for the second attempt

Re: Parksense Stays On in Drive

Yeah I found it weird in delay mode, but should help parallel parking. Will turn it back on again and give it another shot.
