The wiring to tap the mirror for power is:

Black = Ground
Pink/Green = Power

I did the same thing, I had bestbuy install it, and very next day that I took delivery of the vehicle. I hate wires being seen or not a clean install...

Re: Passport Radar Detector mount

I am about to do the same thing thanks for the pic. I was wondering where I wanted to mount it and that looks like a good place. I checked in to a blendmount but it wouldn't work because of the rain sensor and the mirror stem on the '12 Overland being above the mirror.

I use a V1 but here's a pic with the Escort.

Any idea of which Invisicord is to be ordered? There seems to be no option for a Jeep

From what I saw we need a micro. I ordered that but have not received it. It will be in tomorrow so I can let you know then if someone else hasn't.

Just installed got the 8" version of the micro, definitely get the micro ends as they are tight to get into the harness. I should have gone longer as I thought I'd have enough to go to the drivers side but was too short a couple of inches. I have it mounted on the passenger side now and I think I kind of like it. I am on my phone right now and don't have the link.

Sorry for the bad images got dark quick when I got home.

Re: Passport Radar Detector mount

Any details on how to install would be greatly appreciated. Such as how to get to the wiring harness and which color wires to tap into.....thanks

When I use the pink/green, my redline shuts off when I shift into R then comes back on when I shift into D. Anyone else experience this?
