"Phone Call Complete"......

I know the phone call is complete! I'm the one who terminated it in the first place!

Can I turn off the uConnect prompt about the phone call being completed?!?

Re: "Phone Call Complete"......

i would love to know the answer to this question

its enough to make the "call end" sound, but does she have to say it, every time?

Re: "Phone Call Complete"......

It's funny you bring this up. My wife said the same thing and it irritates her. I never thought anything of it till she said it.

Now everytime she says 'Phone call complete' I'm like no $#%& Sherlock...

Re: "Phone Call Complete"......

same thing when you make a call: i wish we could skip the "Matt's iPhone uconnect", annoying!
I want to hit the uconnect button and talk right away w/o having to listen for the 2 prompts!

Re: "Phone Call Complete"......

What bugs me is the phone rings and it spends more time telling me to press the Uconnect button then it takes for me to answer the damned phone.

More then once has the phone rang, and when I've got to answer it the other person hung up because it took so long to answer. (430N radio)

I couldn't find a way to disable the announcement.

Yeah that is really annoying. I hope they update it. The system is too slow for my tastes.

this is not a fix, but a workaround. if you hit the voice button on the steering wheel while the "lady" is talking it will skip the prompt. not a perfect resolution but i have gotten really quick at skipping through all prompts when making calls so has worked better for me.

Re: "Phone Call Complete"......

adding to watched topics ... also interested. there is no ready to tell you the call has been terminated if you have just hit the "end" button.

Re: "Phone Call Complete"......

after hearing "Phone Call Complete," my typical response is "F*ck You!"

I hope my Jeep doesn't get offended, but that computer generated voice makes me sick...

Carry on...

I've never got that to work, even though I frantically punch the phone button on the wheel. I'm still stuck waiting for U Connect to tell me, "Dave Johnson is calling, press the phone button to answer." - by the time it's allowed me to speak I could have already been done.

I'm really shocked this isn't a bigger gripe on here - it's probably my one and only gripe with the truck. The bluetooth interface is just atrocious.

Re: "Phone Call Complete"......

The RER/Uconnect system is my only gripe with this truck too! Simply said its terrible. My iPhone drops all the time, and I drive through NYC every weekend and the Nav just shuts down half of the time as there is too much information to comprehend. The constant "your route is being updated due to traffic information made me turn off the verbal cues so I miss directions sometimes because the screen is not really easy to see without turning your head. If I could have the BMW system in this truck it would be perfection.

Re: "Phone Call Complete"......

Agreed 100% - it's honestly a shame. I had what seemed like an antique in-car gps in my Acura TL-S, but even that was slightly better sometimes. Sucks because these seem so much more upgradable too.
