Pioneer NEX 6100 Install questions

I've got the 2011 GC Limited with the factory Nav, Back up cam and the alpine audio system. ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1457540872.825169.jpg

I'm trying to install a Pioneer AVIC NEX-6100 that I had in my 2012 Dodge Ram 1500. I have the Axxess ASWC-1 and info to hook that up for steering wheel controls. Besides that I want to retain the stock back-up cam, but the pioneer takes an RCA input on the back and I see no such cable for the wiring in to the rear of the stock head unit. What do I have to do here? Also, I'd like to be able to hook the stock microphone in to the Pioneer instead of using the one I'd have to run a wire for and mount. Anyone overcome these things?

Crutchfield sells an install kit that will provide you with pretty much plug and play integration, including the steering wheel controls.

Greetings and welcome,

PAC components is one choice for the better harness to go with Pioneer units. That is what I used from my Pioneer AppRadio head unit. The factory cam is in use.

The other choice is iDatalink which allow to keep the Uconnect system accessible as describe in the 6100 users manual. At the time of my install, the iDatalkink was not out yet.

Best for now.

Re: Pioneer NEX 6100 Install questions

I am installing the 6100 and after having made all the connections, the sound is not playing at all. I know I've got the amplifier and am supposed to run the front to rear channels.... I am not sure. Has anyone ran in to this?
