if you read the thread ..... when you click the accept button, you have to hear the rest of the prompt before the call connects.

I find this extremely annoying as well, for what its worth.

Re: "press the uconnect phone button to answer."

Hello, May I toss a couple things out here for consideration?
1) How long are you pressing the Uconnect button when you are told about the incoming call?
2) If longer than a simple press, then you are holding it too long. This can cause the incoming call to go into voice mail or you may also hear "call transferred to phone".
3) Some of you may not like it when you say "call ###-####" or "call John" and Uconnect replies back with the confirmation of the # or the name. The confirmation prompts can be turned off by:
A) press the Uconnect button and say "set up, confirmation prompts. Uconnect will reply that "confirmation prompts are on, would you like to turm them off? Yes.
B) Now when you say "call ###-####" or "call John", Uconnect will reply back "calling ###-####" or "calling John" and proceed with the call.

Re: "press the uconnect phone button to answer."

Figured this out the other day -

Using an iPhone & iOS 7, you can turn off phone book syncing under your bluetooth menu. I did this, then deleted my phone from the uconnect system and then re-paired it. Now when calls come in, you can answer them on the first ring without the voice prompts. The two disadvantages are that the head unit does not show who is calling, and you can not dial out by voice command.

Either way, I like being able to answer calls right away.
