probably a stupid question

Where is the auto mirror dimmer setting located? I am having windows tinted right now and i want to remember to turn that off so the side mirrors arent too dark at night.

i looked thru the settings in the center touch screen display and didnt see it.

Thanks.

Re: probably a stupid question

The only thing that makes your question a little stupid is that you didn't mention what Jeep you have, or what year it is.

For the 2014 GC there is a picture of the mirror on the screen when you go into settings. It only became available with the next to the last uConnect update.

Other than that ... no idea.

One choice is here:

https://rsur.extra.chrysler.com/rsur/Uconnect.do

If you become a supporting of Jeep Garage, you will be able to download it from the VIP section. This allows you to bypass a download manager that some have problems with.

Re: probably a stupid question

Thanks. So there is no control for the mirrors without the Uconnect update, is that correct?

Re: probably a stupid question

When I got mine in March, and for some time after, there was no on and off for dimming the mirrors. It didn't bother me, but quite a few people complained. Two updates ago it showed up in the settings screen.

Re: probably a stupid question

I just checked mine and the mirror control was right where you said it was. I had skipped right past it and gone to settings to the more detailed options. I just wanted to make sure i had it off since the front windows are now tinted. Thanks for the help.
