I actually called Uconnect regarding the "Select Models" before ordering my HA; especially since everyone at the dealership was clueless.
Uconnect states that for the remote start and send directions were limited to the select models that had factory remote start and factory Nav. Basically, and logically, if you don't have a remote start, how would you expect the app to work.
That said: Vehicle Location is active on my iPhone, only problem is that it hardly updates. I was at work all day yesterday and the app showed my HA was still parked at my home 25 miles away. I spoke to a tech at Jeep and they said it's the sucky Sprint 3G. Makes me wonder if I press 911 or Assist on my mirror, will they know where the car is to send help. Even more, with the built in LoJack, if I report my car stolen, will Uconnect send a SWAT Team to my house because that was where the system thinks my car is.
