Question about bluetooth phone

I have a Verizon Droid Incredible and love it. The dealership linked it to my Laredo X and it is clear as day. My question is how do I get it to keep the call going from my handset when I leave the Jeep. If I am on the phone and get in the Jeep it will automatically link and keep going, but when I am on the phone and leave the Jeep it doesn't switch back to the handset. What am I doing wrong here?

Re: Question about bluetooth phone

On the 430N there is a button on the touchscreen that you press to send it back to the cell phone. I've used it; it works just fine. Not sure if the 730N has the same button.

Re: Question about bluetooth phone

As long as your phone setting is set to 'do not prompt' to connect to Uconnect then it's a flawless effort. Simply get in the Jeep and Uconnect will automatically connect to your phone. Might take 15-30 seconds to recognize. Get out while its running and the phone will stay connected up to a certain distance. If you are still on a call and you turn off the jeep use RedBolt's suggestion or simply disconnect via the setting on your phone.

I had Uconnect on my Ram and loved it. I haven't held a phone up to my ear in the car since 2007.

Re: Question about bluetooth phone

According to the user guide, page 47, press the Voice Command button (during the call) and at the BEEP, say "Transfer Call."

I've found no soft button for it on the 730N, so that may be what we need to do to swap over.
