Question about rear DVD

I am considering ordering a 2012 Overland vs a 2011 in stock and the dealer said they heard rumors that there may be rear headrest DVD in 2012 instead of overhead. Any truth to this?

Also is the Sirius TV still included for a year in 2012?

There's been no such announcement. I don't think it would make sense because the headrests are "active" in a crash.

Re: Question about rear DVD

Klossner is right. You can not install a dvd in the headrest due to the active head restraint. But there is a company called rosen entertainment systems that can install a dvd system onto the headrest posts

Thanks everyone, dealer just talking out of his ***. Anyway, what about the Sirius TV, is that still available for on demand video?

Yes you still get 1 year of Sirius TV with the DVD on the 2012s.
