Question Questions about 430n

I have a 2011 Grand Cherokee with 430n and I want to see if it's just me or if this is the same for other GCs.

1. My GPS does not display the cities and towns. I have never seen a map that did not display cities/towns. My husband's GPS in his Jeep Wrangler displays cities/towns and the GPS in my former car (Cadillac STS) displayed cities/towns. I just find this odd. Is the GPS supposed to display this way?

2. My GPS does an automatic zoom in, zoom out depending on my speed. Is there a way to stop that from happening? I want to set the GPS at a certain distance and have it stay there. I am constantly having to reset it to my preferred distance.

3. Is there a way to get directions to a city/town without having to type in a specific street address?

Thanks all!

Thumbs up Re: Questions about 430n

Well....don't I feel like an idiot. After several back and forth emails with Garmin to no avail, my technologically challenged husband was sitting in my Jeep trying to help me and guess what happened? He just tapped the GPS screen and POOF cities and towns magically appeared!! Man do I feel like a dummy.

According to Garmin, I am stuck with the automatic zoom in/zoom out feature. It is there and no way to change it.
