Rear Seat Entertainment

I see that the rear seat entertainment system is not available until July 22 for ordering. Does anyone know of this system will be able to be added on aftermarket. I know there are other options available, but the OEM one with the folding screens is very slick.

Yeah they are aren't they? I was wondering if it could be added to the 2012 model.

Re: Rear Seat Entertainment

I doubt they can be added to the 11-13 models due to the new electrical system. I also wonder, if they can be added will you need to replace the entire front seats or can they add them to the existing seats.

Re: Rear Seat Entertainment

I doubt it would be possible to add the Rear Entertainment to the 2014 WK2. At least, not unless you're prepared ($$$) to replace both front seats along with some other stuff.

As usual, your best bet is to get it equipped that way.

I'm just looking for an aftermarket system to add. Something that can have wireless headphones and input (ipod, iphone, sd card, whatever). That should keep the kids busy.

I'm interested in this as well. I've got a baby on the way in July, so I'm still a good ways away from needing any type of rear entertainment, but I'd like to know what fits and looks good.

Re: Rear Seat Entertainment

I know a company called Rosen makes systems compatible with the active headrests. AVV700 is the model that will work with the jeep. They are quite pricy though
