Rear view camera view failure

Tonight I have experienced for the second time in as many weeks a reverse camera failure. First, the guidance lines failed to move with the steering then the image disappeared altogether. Interestingly enough, the front view camera also failed. Granted, I do have a Lockpick unit but I have yet to uncover another thread where the Lockpick is to blame.

Along with the symptoms described above (guidance lines fail to move) followed by the image disappearing, I have also experienced in recent days UCONNECT spontaneously rebooting and several navigation failures, where navigation either canceled itself or the accuracy of the unit was off by a few hundred yards. This is what makes me think it is the car/the unit that is failing, not the Lockpick CHR 558 - because that is essentially a video piggy-back. Besides, the parking lines failing to move with the steering wheel is indicative of a problem with the car systems, not with the Locpick and the video playback.

Someone here Backup camera problem proposed the TIPM (Total Integrated Power Module) as a culprit, but I only experienced a rear camera failure, NOT a full UCONNECT system black screen. The other features were working fine (navi, music, radio).

Lastly, upon shutting off the engine, opening the door, and pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del, the system rebooted (excessively long time) and the cameras came alive. In fact, I was able to complete my parking maneuver and when I put it in Park, the system was still rebooting.

At this point I am glad that I do not have the software Lockpick because it makes it so much easier to diagnose and apportion blame to either the car or the Lockpick hardware (which I doubt). Given that I am on my 3rd unit, I am not surprised, but then again, I never really had the tremors, shaky image or laggy image from the rear view camera that many have reported following several firmware updates since about the summer of 2013.

UCONNECT 8.4AN - August 2013 build (as I said, it was replaced)
Jeep Grand Cherokee - April 2013 build.
Lockpick - May 2014 install
UCONNECT - 14.25.5

Has anyone experienced anything similar ? Thanks.
