So I ran some wires from my radio to drivers seat to install my amp for my sub. PITA to splice/run wires. But anyways i had the whole center of the damn car apart and could you believe i could not find a good solid remote wire location to tap into? I looked at using the 12V socket in the center console but came to find out it stays on even after the car is turned off. I also thought about tapping into the power of the radio but didnt want to take that chance. And this jeep has no fusebox under the dask like older cars had. SO my question, where is the simplest and easier remote tab i can use to run to my drivers seat? Really hoping i dont have to take apart the whole thing again,

BTW i found a hardness below the dash on the drivers side that looks like the speaker wires i tapped into. Was it really that simple that i could have tapped into there instead of pulling the radio.

BTW i have a '15 JCP Limited with the stock 6 speaker setup....not the upgraded alpine or anything else. Thanks!

ALso i seen multiple post about amp installs but have yet to really say exactly where they tapped into. Thanks for understanding.

So pretty pissed....tapped into the USB charger in the rear console and it gives constant power even though i tested it on my phone and it stopped charging! I dont get it. There was multiple wires however so is it possible there are multiple power leads going to the USB port? Geez after all this work i am really ticked off at the moment thinking i was done. :(

Well, just wanted to update for those who need to try this.

What I ended up tapping into was the USB ports from the rear console. The following can get it done:
1. From underneath, pry the console out and up. The bottom comes out first and then it should unclip from the rest. There is a wire connected that doesnt give you to much play so dont pull out to far (that's what she said :p)
2. In the back, there are 6 philip screws holding the vents in place to the rear face plate. Remove the screws to remove this piece to get to the hardness connectors.
3. Pull out all connectors to remove the rear console. You can then fish the wires through the vent piece. There is a bottom feed that the wires are being held by. You can release one wire at a time.

From there i used the LEFT USB (drivers side) connector. Be careful because this is where i screwed up! There are 4 wires total. One of them is constant power (wire closest to the passenger side. I used the wire next to the ground (black) which only gave off power when ACC was turned on at ignition. You can test this with multimeter which i failed to do :)

Anyways install back is simple. I hope this helps for those with newer models that want to run a AMP remote wire.

I was going to, and then got caught up in the process. I used a LOC to get the signals from the Radio hardness (2 front speakers) to the RCA output for the AMP.

Amp installed under driver seat. Wires ran below and around the center console to the battery under passenger seat.
Remote wire connected to above picture.
Speaker wire ran below side moldings on driver side.
