Re: Replaced my 2014 Overland Dash Speaker

Ok, I have a pair of the Polk speakers; but have had trouble finding the 71-039c adapter.
A local shop said they just make their own wires, but "always test the phase" so they know how to wire it...

Has anyone had issues with wiring theirs in or out of phase?

I guess if I make my own adapter - I'll need to research the wire colors

With the correct adaptor this shouldn't be an issue as the adaptors mentioned in this thread are plug and play and can only be installed one way. The spade connectors have one large and one small lug and can only plug in the correct way.

howiestt, it looks like oilspot has an extra Polk speaker listed above (unless he sold it??). You can get the center channel harness from Crutchfield:

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_1207103...s.html?tp=3097

Changing out the center channel with a Polk made a huge difference, for me! Good luck!

Re: Replaced my 2014 Overland Dash Speaker

I just recently installed a JL c2 350x which I got from a forum member. Sounds good! Not sure how it would compare to the Polk.
